   Welcome To TommyWorld

TommyWorld is the home site of Tommy Ferguson. In it you will find a number of different sections relating to my involvement in Science Fiction fandom: articles that I have written, my newsletter-cum-eFanzine TommyWorld as well photos, and other bits of my life in Fandom.

   What's New in TommyWorld

18 April 2008 Good night at the Monico - though I don't know why I'm continually surprised at this! You guys should come along (you know who you are!) You might even enjoy yourself.

20 January 2008 Well the polyp is clear and gone, so that's a relief. However I am infected with the H-pylori bacteria - yet again. The last time was in September. Just finished the triple eradication therapy, which wasn't pleasant, though I'm feeling much better. Ultra sound on Monday week, as there is still something wrong with me, still in pain, and we're thinking it may be gall stones. Ho hum...

03 January 2008 Two stomach biopsies (for H-pylori and a Polyp) were taken. I hope to get the results next week. Then an ultra sound scan on 28 Jan. Still not great, but we'll see what the results say.

16 December 2007 More stomach hassles. Off work at the moment and back in hospital next Thursday for another scope and more tests. More news next week

12 December 2007 Finally moved house! Still haven't sold our old one though >> If you're interested, drop me a line.

22 October 2007 Much later than I hoped, here is Götterdämmerung Redux >>

07 August 2007 Mecon photos (mostly Saturday - too much booze on my dodgy tum-tums to make Sunday) here >>

01 August 2007 Mecon this weekend, see Belfast SF Con on the left there. Though with a dodgy tum these past two weeks I may be a bit more circumspect than usual. New (ish) issue of Götter to launch there however! Ten years since the last one, no less. Will put a pdf version on-line in due course.

A month between updates, hmmm...

01 July 2007 Donegal trip photos here >>

30 June 2007 40 Years old last week - who'd thought?

30 March 2007 In America until the 19th April - so may not be replying to emails.

06 Mar 2007 Loads more photos uploaded.

OLD NEWS HERE
